Tickets to the inaugural event are free of charge for adults (14+) and children. They can be purchased from the ticket page, and you need to purchase tickets for each day you plan to attend.

No, you will need to register for tickets online. Tickets will remain available all weekend, so if you turn up at the venue without a ticket, you will be directed to register on the ticket page first.

Getting To The Venue

Located in the geographical heart of greater Sydney, the Park is easily reached from any direction. With the final stage of WestConnex, Rozelle Interchange now open, along with the M4 tunnel, the trip from the Sydney CBD to Sydney Showground is quicker than ever, taking around 20 minutes  (16km).

Free Parking

For short visits, there are 2-hour free parking spaces located on Grand Parade, Olympic Boulevard, and Dawn Fraser Avenue.

Casual Parking

Sydney Olympic Park has over 10,000 parking spaces site-wide. Carparks P1, P5, and P6 are close to the Sydney Showground. The cost is $7 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $35 per day.

Public Transport

Conveniently serviced by bus, train, and ferry services, the site was purpose-built for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and has been designed to cope effortlessly with high visitor volumes.

By Train

Olympic Park train station is on Sydney Showground’s doorstep. The Sprint service, operated by CityRail, travels between Lidcombe and Olympic Park Stations daily, every 10 minutes.

Sydney Buses operates direct bus services to Sydney Olympic Park from several locations, including Lidcombe, Strathfield, and Parramatta.

Sydney Ferries runs a daily service between Circular Quay and Parramatta, stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. Visitors must also catch a connecting bus to travel to the Sydney Showground.

Sydney Airport is approximately 20km from Sydney Olympic Park and is easily accessible by all modes of transport.

With the opening of the new M4 to M8 WestConnex tunnel, travel times from
Sydney Airport to Sydney Showground has been reduced by 11 minutes, with
journey times from 20 minutes.

No. The Sydney Showground will only allow Support Animals into the venue.

The venue will provide food and beverages within the main hall, and there are additional facilities within walking distance of the venue.

You can access the hall during the opening times listed above. If you wish to arrive early, there are restaurants locally where you can wait until the venue opens.
